Montana’s rivers and streams are among our state’s greatest assets. They provide unparalleled recreational opportunities for visitors and residents alike. As recreational use of these resources continues to grow, the need to protect them for all users is even more crucial.

“Respect Your Rivers” is a new effort to build awareness about river etiquette. The campaign was initiated by a Citizens’ Advisory Committee of Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks (Region 3) made up of folks who are concerned about our  priceless river resources. Presentations are available for those interested in learning more about the campaign.
